A vehicle modified by the use of performance parts and tuning may not meet the legal requirements for use on public roads. Ideal Race makes no claims of compliance unless otherwise stated on a per-product basis. Use or installation of performance parts and tuning may adversely affect the drivability and reliability of your vehicle, and may also affect or eliminate your insurance coverage, factory warranty and new OEM part warranty. There is no warranty stated or implied from Ideal or guarantee of OEM vehicle warranty, insurance, or emissions compliance, due to the stress placed on your vehicle by performance parts and our inability to monitor its use, tuning or modification.

This limited warranty for the original purchaser applies to Ideal parts and begins on the invoice date of part purchase and ends twelve (12) months or 12,000 miles from that date, whichever occurs first. Due to the variety of modifications and changes made to cars and/or engines that may affect the performance or durability of related components, Ideal’s obligation under this warranty extends solely to the repair or replacement parts manufactured by Ideal.

This limited warranty for the original purchaser applies to Ideal’s labor and begins on the invoice date and ends twelve (12) months from that date, whichever occurs first. Ideal’s obligation under this limited labor warranty extends solely to the labor required for the repair of components or systems deemed by Ideal Race to have been damaged as a result of an Ideal employee’s negligence during installation of those components, systems, or existing components and systems.

All warranty returns must be pre-authorized by contacting Ideal at 334-750-8940. Parts deemed under warranty will be repaired or replaced by Ideal at no cost to the customer. Payment of the cost of labor related to said repair/replacement is at the sole discretion of Ideal and will only be covered by Ideal where the Ideal part or parts were originally installed or service was performed at the Ideal Race facility located at 2700 Sandhill Rd. Auburn AL, 36830. Labor/service performed at any other facility is at the sole discretion of that facility and is excluded from this warranty.

To file a warranty claim, Ideal or the authorized dealer must be notified and the vehicle and/or part must be brought to the attention of Ideal Race within seventy-two (72) hours of discovery of the defect. Shipping charges to and from Ideal are the responsibility of the customer.

To file a warranty claim, the part must be returned with proof of purchase, the customer name and address, type of car, year, odometer reading, and VIN number, the installation and removal date of the part, and the date the part was delivered. No claims will be considered without the aforementioned information and the original Ideal part. Return freight charges must be prepaid. Collect charged returns will not be accepted. All parts replaced under warranty will become the sole property of Ideal Race.

Parts showing evidence of misapplication, abuse, misuse, improper maintenance, neglect, alterations from their original configuration, or failure to follow installation instructions are expressly not covered by this warranty. Ideal reserves the right to make changes to products, or specifications at any time without obligation to modify earlier parts. No person, company, or other organization is authorized to assume for Ideal any warranty responsibility or make binding judgments regarding warranties of any parts, which from time to time may become subject of a warranty claim.

The Ideal Limited Product Warranty further excludes the following: Transportation and shipping charges, towing and rental car charges, damage to a component or assembly due to installation of replacement parts with specification(s) that differ in any material respect from the original vehicle manufacturer’s or Ideal parts, damage resulting from the modification of an Ideal part, damage resulting from the use of other manufacturer’s products in conjunction with Ideal’s products or systems, damage to clutch or transmission components, maintenance services and parts when replaced during maintenance such as spark plugs, lubricants, fluids, engine tune-up parts, replacement filters, coolant and refrigerant, mechanical adjustments or repairs which result from normal wear and tear, drive belts, light bulbs, damage due to the failure to perform maintenance services at the specified intervals or in accordance with the instructions in the owner’s manual from the original vehicle manufacturer or Ideal product instructions, damage attributed to negligence, improper installation, improper treatment contrary to the instructions in the owner’s manual from the original vehicle manufacturer or Ideal product instructions, damage resulting from improper or contaminated fuel, damage to a Ideal component as a result of a collision or repair, any vehicle/products operated and used in a competitive event, custom designed competition parts, incidental and /or consequential damages, including loss of time, inconvenience or loss of the use of the vehicle.

Ideal’s Limited Product Warranty applies only to the original purchaser.
